You can switch to Energy Knights or another supplier with a dynamic contract without it affecting your FlexiO contract. Can I use a HomeWizard dongle instead of a P1 cable?

Yes, FlexiO is compatible with the HomeWizard P1 dongle. It's important that the Wi-Fi connection with the dongle is stable.
Check with your installer that the dongle is on the same network as FlexiO during the installation.

No, you don’t need to do anything when you install a heat pump. The FlexiO algorithm automatically takes your consumption into account and adapts to the new consumption pattern, ensuring your batteries, EV charger, and inverter continue to operate optimally.

Is bidirectional charging (V2G/V2H) possible with FlexiO?

Bidirectional charging (V2G/V2H) is not currently supported by FlexiO. While this technology is on our radar for future development, there is no active integration or timeline available at this time.

If you have a bidirectional charger, FlexiO will recognize it as a regular consumer (load) and factor it into your home energy profile. However, FlexiO cannot control the discharge (vehicle-to-grid/home) functionality.

No, FlexiO is not compatible with plug-in batteries (such as Marstek).

Plug-in batteries:
• Work independently with their own 'intelligence'
• Have limited capacity
• Cannot be externally controlled

For FlexiO you need a battery inverter OR hybrid inverter to which a home battery is connected.

⚠️ Important: Combining a plug-in battery with a battery or hybrid inverter will conflict with FlexiO's steering and generate a loss of savings.

Is the dynamic tariff supported?

The dynamic tariff is now available in FlexiO. Open the MyFlexiO app, go to Settings → FlexiObox → Energy Tariff and select the desired tariff from the list. If you don’t see the tariff, update the app to the latest version.
