How long does it take for FlexiO to learn my consumption pattern?
Approximately a few weeks. FlexiO continuously learns your consumption habits, production patterns and behavior. In the first weeks you'll already see results, but the fine-tuning improves over time.
How long is the warranty on the FlexiObox?
5 year warranty on FlexiObox hardware  and 2 years on the power supply. In case of defect: contact support with FlexiObox ID + description of the problem. Replacement will be sent free of charge within the warranty period.
Is Energy Knights tariff compatible?
Yes, Energy Knights (Belpex-based tariff) is compatible. Select 'Energy Knights' in MyFlexiO app > Settings > Energy tariff. Correct configuration = better optimization.
Is Engie Empower Flextime supported by FlexiO?
No, there is currently no support for the Engie Empower Flextime contract. A fully dynamic contract (e.g., Engie Dynamic, Bolt, or Trevion) or an ePOWR rate provides more benefit, because FlexiO can then respond to all price fluctuations.
Is it safe to give my bank account number in the FlexiO app?
Yes, it is safe to provide your bank account number in the FlexiO app. Your number is only used for the direct debit of your monthly subscription (with your explicit consent) and for payouts of net balancing income. The data is encrypted and sent to our servers; with only an account number, no one can take money from your account and we never ask for your password on a payment page. Additionally, you always receive an invoice in advance.
Is the dynamic tariff from Frank Energie supported?
Yes, every dynamic energy tariff is supported by FlexiO. You can set the correct tariff via the MyFlexiO app: open the app, go to Settings, select your FlexiObox, choose Energy Tariff and select ‘Frank Energie’ from the list.

Is there a minimum battery capacity for FlexiO?
Yes, minimum 5 kWh usable capacity is recommended. Smaller is possible, but savings/earnings are proportionally lower. 
My activation code/temporary code has expired - how do I get a new one?
If your activation code has expired, you can request a new one via the app or website. Go to the login page, click 'Forgot password' and follow the steps. If this doesn't work, contact support with your email address and we'll send a new activation link.
My battery shows 0W in the app while it is working
This may indicate a configuration problem or communication delay. First check if the installer has fully completed the configuration. If the battery is physically charging/discharging but the app shows 0W, there is probably a measurement issue. Contact your installer for support.
My digital meter is far from the house. Can FlexiO work?
The maximum cable length for a wired P1 connection is 5 meters. If your meter is farther away, you can use a HomeWizard P1 Wi‑Fi dongle provided there is a good Wi‑Fi connection at the location of your digital meter. If that is not the case, you can opt to have a HomeWizard Eastron meter installed at the head of your fuse box, so the data is sent wirelessly to the FlexiObox. Make sure the FlexiObox is on the same network as your other devices.
