How does it work?

Daily forecasting

LIFEPOWR predicts each customer’s injection & consumption via the digital meter and shares this data with the energy supplier.

Smarter market position

The supplier uses these insights to buy energy at the best price, allowing them to offer a lower tariff without extra risk margins.

Real-time control

With the FlexiObox (EMS+), LIFEPOWR can steer your installation instantly to balance the grid, based on the real-time needs of the network and users.

Transparent billing

All savings and benefits are automatically reflected on the user’s monthly energy bill.

Bonus advantage

You can participate in both rBalancing (FCR) and eBalancing, creating extra income on top of your lower energy rate.

FlexiO will still assess whether the benefits to be gained from grid balancing outweigh the local savings. The end result must always be beneficial to the customer.
Access to an additional market for participation in grid balancing
By using a compatible Flex Tariff, you participate in a second market, namely eBalance. Because the energy supplier adapts to the customer profile, the participation in imbalance is managed to the customer's advantage.

We manage based on the customer profile and not based on the market signals.
More return from existing installation
The energy supplier is able to offer a very favourable tariff on the market. This allows the customer to obtain a very cheap energy price.
Everything clearly listed on one bill
Revenue from grid balancing services will be transparently settled with the monthly energy bill.
The FlexiO logic remains in place
If the customer already has income from grid balancing for Elia (rBalancing), they can use both energy markets. Income from rBalancing is also included in the energy bill.
