PR & Communications Specialist

Your challenge

We are looking for someone to join our small, cross-functional marketing team and take ownership of our public relations activities, while assisting on a broader range of marketing and communications activities.


An impression of the challenges waiting for you:


  • You will create exciting stories to spread awareness for LIFEPOWR and use your journalistic contacts to ensure they reach a wide audience.

  • You will write press releases, media alerts, newsletters, blogs and/or case studies to spread the word about our achievements, partnerships and new solutions.

  • You will proactively pitch ideas to podcasts, radio, TV, print and online media, and other channels to increase our reach.

  • You will build and maintain relationships with clients, journalists and other media personnel to help build our brand and strengthen our network – via events, email and/or LinkedIn.

  • You will work closely together with our growth, sales and product teams to come up with new storylines, develop new campaign ideas and ensure that all external communication is accurate and up to date.

  • You will develop campaign strategies on how we can best reach our target audience and discover new markets. Analyze the success of campaigns and use this to inform future PR strategies.

Technical skills

  • You have a PR/marketing background: an education in communication, media or marketing related fields or similar through experience.

  • You know the basics of psychology and the principles of influence.

  • You know what's happening in the green energy landscape.

  • You have experience building favourable relationships with press (on-and offline media).

  • You have a proven track record of executing the full PR mix

  • You speak and write Dutch and English on a professional level.

  • You know how to report timely on results and progress according the predefined KPI's.
