LIFEPOWR is building out a network of Home Batteries with grid balancing capabilities. This requires perfect synergy between hardware devices and controlling software. Cross - divisional knowledge and passion to build and program electronics is a must for this position.

We are a growing company based in Antwerp; We are developing a complete energy storage system, bridging the gap between hardware (batteries – inverters – converters) and software (smart control through local and remote energy management). This will allow end-users to store their solar-produced energy to increase self-consumption and reduce their energy bill.
An Engineer with a broad set of interests, ranging from (Power) Electronics, Communication Technologies and IoT, passionate about building deployable systems and subsystems consisting of both hardware and software components.
Who
you are:
Technical Education; Master in (Industrial) Engineering Sciences in ICT / Electronics or related engineering field and gained experience in the world of IoT.
Hands-on experience with integration of separate components, sensors, A/D communication, software platforms and the cloud. You’ve created functional applications from A to Z (this can be professional or in your free-time)

You are fluent with the physics behind energy and its conversion principles.

You can design electronic circuits

An extra asset is an experience in drawing production-ready Gerber files

You have a profound base of coding skills, and ideally, you’ve used C/C++/JavaScript/Node/SQL before.
